My Current Favourite Lip Products

1. The Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm in "Strawberry" $7.95
2. Lanolips ointment $17.99
3. Chi Chi creamy matte liquid lipstick in "Lady in Red" $16.95
4. Chi Chi lipstick in "Let Me Tempt You" $18.95
5. MAC cremesheen lipstick in "Bare Again" $36
6. MAC cremesheen lipstick in "Shy Girl" $36
7. Dior lip maximiser lipgloss $48.00
8. Chi Chi stay on lip liner in "Lady in Red" $9.95

Lip products are a secret (or not so secret) obsession of mine and these are the ones I am loving at the moment. I've only recently discovered Chi Chi lip products but was quickly swept off my feet when I did...they're amazing! I'd highly recommend trying out the lip liners as they are very pigmented and long-wearing. The price tag on Chi Chi products are also a great bonus.

The Dior lipgloss is quite pricey which makes it a bit of a luxury but I find it works wonders as a lip primer, allowing the lipstick to glide on smoothly or just as a type of lip balm as it hydrates the lips very effectively.

I'm sure you've probably heard of the MAC lipsticks I mentioned (they are my holy grail lipsticks) and same for The Body Shop lip balms and Lanolips ointment. The strawberry flavoured lip balm is definitely my favourite as it tints the lips a gorgeous berry/pink colour and smells very sweet and delicious. I'm always mixing up my lip balms and trying out new brands so these are just my favourite at the moment.

Have you tried any of these lip products? What are your favourites at the moment?

Spring & Coral FOTD

Hey guys!

Another Spring face of the day. I'm really into red and coral lip colours at the moment so today's face is sporting just that. "Lady Danger", the lipstick that I'm wearing, is a gorgeous, vibrant orangey red and has a surprisingly creamy texture for a matte lipstick. I'd highly recommend trying it out as no matter what skin tone you have (as the lady at the MAC counter told me), it suits everyone!

As always I've listed the products used on my face and also the brand of clothes I am wearing in the pictures below. Enjoy.

Katy Perry 'Oh Honey' False Lashes by Eylure

Literally guys, these fake lashes are THE bomb.com if you're going for super full, voluminous lashes. The band fits my eyes perfectly, no cutting was required, and they're so light and easy to wear.

I bought these to wear at my Uni ball and have since re-used them at least 5 times and they're still going strong. I would say these are more of a going out type lash but if you're into wearing big falsies during the day then who's stopping you from doing so!

I love the fluttery, natural-ish look these falsies give and will 100% repurchase when necessary. The only downside to these lashes are the price. They're not overly expensive but in comparison to a lot of lashes they're not cheap either...middle range you could say.

Rrp: $14.99 (Bought from Priceline)

What are your favourite fake lashes? I'm always on the hunt for new ones!

Shopping Withdrawals

Lately I've been all about the saving and less about the spending purely because I have a million and one things coming up that require the cash dollar. To prevent myself wasting all the hard earned money I'm going to make yet ANOTHER list of all the things I want to buy.

I swear this has become one of my favourite things to blog about ha ha (sorry for being such an enabler). Enjoy!

From top to bottom, left to right:

1. Lorac Pro Palette
2. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
3. Nars Copacabana Illuminator
4. Benefit Posie Tint Lip & Cheek Stain
5. Sigma F80 Brush
6. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid
7. Benefit The Porefessional Primer

Now I feel a little better that that's out of my system and I also now have a list to remind me of what to buy when I can spend the money ;) *mischievously giggles*

Do you own any/want any of these products? Which are your favourite?

My First Back To MAC!

Today I came to the glorious realisation that I had indeed collected 6 empty MAC products of mine, so without hesitation I went to the MAC store in Myer and collected my free lipstick!

For those of you unaware, MAC holds a deal called 'Back to MAC' where you can hand over 6 empty MAC products and collect a free lipstick. There is a selection of lipsticks that you can choose from, not all of them are going for free, but if you want to check which ones you can get just head over to the MAC website.

I at first chose 'Creme Cup' however they ran out of that shade so I got my second choice which was 'Lady Danger'. 'Lady Danger' is a gorgeous bright reddish orange matte lipstick and I think it will be the perfect shade for Summer. It glides onto the lips easily and smoothly, and is surprisingly moisturising for a matte shade, not drying on the lips at all.

So make sure you don't throw out any of your empty MAC containers as you don't want to miss out on this awesome deal!

Do you have any free lipsticks from the back to MAC deal?

Product Review - Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Gel & Body Scrub

Behold the most delicious smelling products you will ever come across! Honestly if I could eat these I would...my friend on college tasted a little and it's not recommended.

I wasn't aware Soap & Glory was now retailing in Australia but was pleasantly surprised as I was wondering through David Jones...or was it Myer? I can't exactly remember. I do remember however how ecstatic I was over my new discovery and was quick to snaffle up a few products!

Shower Gel:

Pros:

  • This shower gel has a citrus but also very sweet scent that I can't quite put my finger on. Nevertheless it's incredible.
  • The packaging looks super cute and colourful on my shelf.
  • It contains some great ingredients such as lime oil, coolcapsule x, kiwi waterjuice and a skin softening omega-rich veggie oil.
  • This shower gel is very conditioning and leaves your skin feeling healthy and soft.
  • Did I say it smells amazing?
Cons:
  • It should be edible.

Body Scrub

Pros:
  • This body scrub has a similar, delicious smelling scent to the shower gel which you too will fall in love with.
  • The packaging looks super cute and colourful on my shelf.
  • It contains some great ingredients such as smashed brown sugar, sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains.
  • It's quite moisturising so doesn't leave your skin feeling dry or damaged after exfoliation.
  • It's gentle on the skin.
  • It has a creamy consistency so doesn't fall off the skin while exfoliating.
Cons
  • It gives quite a gentle exfoliation compared to some others that I own, so if you're looking for something to remove patchy fake tan etc, I wouldn't recommend this one.

All in all as a first timer, I love and would highly recommend trying out these Soap & Glory products!

Have you tried any Soap & Glory products? What are your favourites?

Product Review- Bondi Sands Tanning Foam in Dark

Holy tan, this stuff is better than butter melting over warm toast on a cold morning. After using this tanning foam I am completely Bondi Sands converted. This is quite a lengthy review to what I normally write but try to read right to the end because it's worth it!

Bottom Right Photo: After one coat of Bondi Sands tanning foam in "Dark"

Bondi Sands tanner for starters is very reasonably priced. I purchased this for only $19.99 for a 200.0 ml bottle which is about half the price of many other top brand tanning lotions such as St Tropez. It also has the scent of coconuts , I'm quite certain it's the same smell in all of their tanning products, which is my all time favourite smell.

I purchased the shade dark because I'm a bit of a tanning nut and medium or light just doesn't do the job for me. The dark shade gives a very nice deep tan with one layer, and after two layers (which is what I normally opt for) you get really quite a deep bronzed tan without looking orange or streaky. I could tell that this tan wouldn't turn me orange when I washed it off my hands and green colouring came out of the brown foam. The green undertone in a tanning lotion is key if you have olive-toned skin like I do, simply because olive-toned skin has undertones of yellow and green so the tan is going to look very natural on the skin...confusing? Don't stress too much about it, just keep in mind that without a green undertone your skin is likely to turn orange, resembling that of an oopma loompa.

Once applied this tanning foam doesn't feel massively sticky which I find a lot of tanners to do, especially J Bronze tanning foam, and dries fully within around 30 minutes. I usually just apply this after a shower at night time, wait 30 minutes and then hop in to bed and wake up with naturally looking tanned skin.

Lastly, Bondi Sands tanning foam in the shade Dark lasts for a very impressive amount of time. After I've applied two coats, I'll find myself still tanned by the end of the week despite the fact I shower daily. It's vital to keep showers short and not too hot, and to remember to moisturise morning and night in order to lengthen the life of your tan.

I love Bondi Sands tanning foam and will 100% repurchase. Bought from Priceline, an incredibly cheap tanning product for what it's worth, smells amazing and produces a beautiful, deep and natural looking tan. Not to mention it's an Australian product...the little Aussie inside of me squeals with pride.

Have you ever tried Bondi Sands tanning Products?
